Kitio, born on 5 Dec. 1984 in Brazzaville, Congo, the third son of a musician who passed on the rumba and traditional rhythms to his children, wrote his first song at the age of eight, taught himself to play the guitar and, above all, surprised everyone with his voice. Despite the turmoil of three civil wars, the brothers founded the band FB Stars. Big gigs soon followed. "Peace Meeting 2000" in Brazzaville, "Fest Pam Festival Brazzaville", "Jeux de la Francophonie" in Nice in 2013.
A short time later, the artist founded the band "Kitio & the Kongomen" and brought a fiery, rhythmic atmosphere to the "Festival Sango Ndindi, Point Noir" and the "Centre Culturel Brazzaville" with his zouk and rock-infused reggae.
In Switzerland, where Kitio has lived since 2017, the artist born for the stage founded the formation "Kitio&Friends", which has repeatedly created an incomparable atmosphere at festivals and well-known clubs.
In 2020, during the Covid era, he developed his project "Telema" in the direction of Afrobeat. The collaboration with a beatmaker/producer brought a new chapter in Kitio's musical work, who released the title track "Blindé" from his first self-produced album in January 2024

Kitio, né le 5 décembre 1984 à Brazzaville, Congo, troisième fils d'un musicien qui a transmis la rumba et les rythmes traditionnels à ses enfants, a écrit sa première chanson à l'âge de huit ans, a appris à jouer de la guitare et a surtout surpris par sa voix. Malgré les troubles de trois guerres civiles, les frères ont fondé le groupe FB Stars. De grands concerts ont rapidement suivi. "Peace Meeting 2000" à Brazzaville, "Fest Pam Festival Brazzaville", "Jeux de la Francophonie" à Nice en 2013.
Peu après, l'artiste a fondé le groupe " Kitio& the Kongomen " et a apporté son reggae teinté de zouk et de rock dans une ambiance rythmique enflammée, par exemple au " Festival Sango Ndindi, Point Noir " ou au " Centre Culturel Brazzaville ".
En Suisse, où Kitio vit depuis 2017, l'artiste né pour la scène a fondé la formation "Kitio&Friends" qui, ici aussi, a toujours créé une ambiance incomparable dans les festivals et les clubs connus.
En 2020, pendant l'ère Covid, il a évolué vers l'afrobeat avec son projet "Telema". La collaboration avec un beatmaker/coproducteur a ouvert un nouveau chapitre dans la création musicale de Kitio, qui a sorti en janvier 2024 la chanson-titre "Blindé" de son premier album autoproduit.
