Kitio, born on 5 Dec. 1984 in Brazzaville, Congo, wrote his first song at the age of eight, taught himself to play the guitar and, above all, surprised everyone with his voice.
At a very young age, he and his brothers founded the band "FB Stars". Big gigs soon followed. "Peace Meeting 2000", Brazzaville, "Fest Pam Festival Brazzaville", "Jeux de la Francophonie" in Nice(FR) 2013.
The same year Kitio founded the band "Kitio & the Kongomen" and brought a fiery, rhythmic atmosphere to the "Festival Sango Ndindi, Point Noir" and the "Centre Culturel Brazzaville" with his zouk and rock-infused Reggae.
Moving to Switzerland 2017, the artist born for the stage founded the formation "Kitio & Friends", which has repeatedly created an incomparable atmosphere at festivals and well-known clubs.
In 2020 Kitio started his project "Telema" in the style of Afrobeat. The collaboration with a beatmaker/producer brought a new chapter in Kitio's musical work, who released the title track "Blindé" in January 2024.
Summer 2024 Musicians who had repeatedly crossed his path since his arrival in Switzerland came together for the “live performance journey” with Kitio and his joy of life packed in Afrobeat, stories of his experiences, encounters and visions combined with rhythms that have always accompanied him. The Band "Kitio & NgoConnection" was born.

Kitio, né le 5 décembre 1984 à Brazzaville, Congo, troisième fils d'un musicien qui a transmis la rumba et les rythmes traditionnels à ses enfants, a écrit sa première chanson à l'âge de huit ans, a appris à jouer de la guitare et a surtout surpris par sa voix.
Très jeunes lui et ses frères ont fondé le groupe "FB Stars". De grands concerts ont rapidement suivi. "Peace Meeting 2000" à Brazzaville, "Fest Pam Festival Brazzaville", "Jeux de la Francophonie" à Nice en 2013.
Peu après, l'artiste a fondé le groupe " Kitio& the Kongomen " et a apporté son reggae teinté de zouk et de rock dans une ambiance rythmique enflammée, par exemple au " Festival Sango Ndindi, Point Noir " ou au " Centre Culturel Brazzaville ".
En Suisse, où Kitio vit depuis 2017, l'artiste né pour la scène a fondé la formation "Kitio&Friends" qui, ici aussi, a toujours créé une ambiance incomparable dans les festivals et les clubs connus.
En 2020, Kitio a lancé son projet "Telema ", dans le style afrobeat. Cette collaboration avec un beatmaker / producteur a marqué le début d’un nouveau chapitre dans la carrière musicale de Kitio, qui a sorti le titre éponyme « Blindé » en janvier 2024.
En été 2024 des musiciens qui ont croisé son chemin à plusieurs reprises depuis son arrivée en Suisse se sont retrouvés ... pour une « performance live - voyage » avec Kitio et sa joie de vivre emballée dans l'afrobeat, des récits de ses expériences, rencontres et visions unis aux rythmes qui l'ont toujours accompagné. Le groupe Kitio & NgoConnection a vu le jour.
